For more than 20 years now the SWIF Group Germany with head office in Kaiserslautern has been composing and producing its own fragrances for household products.
In addition, we have also been importing odoriferous substances from all over the world, in order to develop compositions which comply with EU regulations. Under constant control, we adapt our fragrances exactly to customer specifications and deliver the final products to internationally operating manufacturers.

Service & Safety
We provide you with a comprehensive analysis by means of gas chromatograph and mass spectrometer. Your current fragrance programme is tested for allergens and substances not complying with the regulations, which are then identified. If necessary, we can offer you EU-conform creations of our own. By doing so, you ensure yourself and your products the best opportunities for the future.

The analysis
A perfume sample is injected into the system. The sample is vaporised in the coupling of the gas chromatograph and the mass spectrometer. Subsequently, the mixture is resolved in an analytical capillary column and conducted into the mass spectrometer via transfer line. Carrier gases are helium or hydrogen. The ionised molecules are detected in an electronic process. The resulting gas chromatogram provides information about qualification and quantification.
