The SWIF GmbH was founded in 2006 within the internationally orientated corporate association „SWIF Group Europe".
Besides the headquarter in Kaiserslautern, Germany, our company has a sales department in Istanbul, Turkey.
The business activities of the group may be divided into three major fields:

SWIF is a member of the Deutscher Verband der Riechstoff-Hersteller e.V. (DVRH) (German Association of the Fragrance Industry).

Within the DVRH, about 30 member companies, predominantly with production sites in Germany, are associated. The union level is approx. 85 %; this includes 2,500 employees and an annual turnover of about 500 million Euros.

With its representation in Brussels, the DVRH is in the direct neighbourhood to the EU institutions. Since the European Market is to be considered as domestic market, it is able to directly response to current market developments and establishes useful contacts.

Cosmetics production companies, soap and detergent manufacturers are among the main clients of the fragrance industry. The DVRH works together with the European EFFA (European Flavour and Fragrance Association) and the international IFRA (International Fragrance Association) in close cooperation. These associations are linked to COLIPA (European Cosmetic Toiletry and Perfumery Association) and AISE (International Association of the Soap, Detergent and Maintenance Product Industries).

The DVRH adheres to the guidelines and regulations of IFRA. Self-regulation is obligatory for all member associations of IFRA worldwide. As a result, the customer enjoys a high degree of safety and trust. The technical and scientific guidelines of these associations are binding for us.
